I finally got to order the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint that I have been drooling over for a while.
Here's what this buffet looked like prior to the Chalk Paint.
It was wasn't in too bad of shape, but it did have some "character" to it. ;)
I should have taken some more during pics, but I didn't. :( Why? Because I was just so in the zone of playing around, that I forgot. I think you'll see why....
All I had to do was clean up the buffet and start painting. No crazy amount of primer, just paint! I'm in heaven. This stuff makes it so you can play so much more than work. :)
I even love the "character" of this piece.
I love this stuff! I can't wait to get more colors and see what magic happens!
Linking up at all those sites in my party list.
Gorgeous! I love all the areas you accented with different colors, great job!

ReplyDeleteThank you all for your sweet comments!
ReplyDelete@WonderFaux Studio-I painted it with the Louis Blue and Old white. You can see the real color better in the close-up pics. My workshop is an enclosed carport, so the tan tarp tweeks the color of some of the pics. ;)
@AndieJaye-Of course I'll be there! :)

It really is beautiful! I also love how you painted the flourishes and details in white, it really makes them stand out. Did you use chalk paint on the hardware too? How does it take to it?

I've even called without ordering, asking questions, and they have been so very helpful! If you order from them, tell them I sent you. :) Thanks. I can't wait to see what you create!
